My passion for the beauty industry started in high school, where my fascination with spray tanning first sparked an obsession with beauty, artistry, and self-expression. What began with spray tanning naturally grew into an interest in mascara, makeup artistry, and eventually the development of a full range of beauty products.
Growing up in a small town and being raised by a single mother helped shape the person I am today. Her strength and determination taught me the value of hard work, independence, and perseverance. Those values continue to guide me as I build and grow Rated R Beauty.
With 10 years of experience in makeup and spray tan artistry and 6 years dedicated to product development, I have turned that passion into Rated R Beauty — an independent beauty brand built on creativity, quality, innovation, and individuality.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, it means a great deal to me to build a brand where individuality is celebrated and everyone can feel welcome. Being LGBTQ+ is an important part of my identity, and I take great pride in bringing that perspective into my work and business.
One of the proudest milestones in my entrepreneurial journey was seeing Rated R Beauty featured on a billboard in Times Square, New York City. It was a significant achievement and a reminder of what dedication, persistence, and believing in your vision can accomplish.
As founder, I remain personally involved in the creative direction and product development of the brand. I am committed to creating products that deliver performance while bringing a sense of luxury and creativity to the beauty experience.
